Tillandsia xerographica, often called the "Queen of Air Plants," lives up to its royal title with its stunning recurved leaves and impressive bloom spikes. It’s not only one of the most beautiful air plants but also one of the easiest to care for! Xerographica can tolerate bright light and withstand longer periods without water compared to most other plants.
Native to arid regions in El Salvador, Guatemala, and southern Mexico, Xerographica thrives in desert environments where rainfall is scarce, sometimes going six months or more without any. They primarily absorb moisture from morning dew. Due to these harsh conditions, Xerographica grows slowly and can live for many years.
Note: While tough, Xerographica requires special care when watering. Be sure not to let water sit in the center of the plant, as it can cause rot. After watering, it’s best to turn the plant upside down for a few hours to allow it to dry thoroughly before returning it to its display.
Each package will come with detailed instructions on tillandsia care.
